Dr. Anita Arora

"Teacher Anita" advises SmartSitKidz with the purpose of providing kids a truly unique and impactful educational experience from home. Anita is a UCLA grad and received her Masters and Doctorate in Education From USC.
Reza Dawood

"Teacher Reza" has advised a number of companies in areas of technology. Reza is a technologist, UCLA Bruin, proud father of 2, and a lifelong advocate of early education.
Jill Derman
Educator
“Teacher Jill” is currently enrolled at Alliant International University working towards her Master in Education in School Psychology. She has taught preschool, kindergarten, and English as a Second Language (ESL). She is eager to bring her passion and love for teaching young students to SmartSitKidz!
Veronica McGrath
Educator
"Teacher Veronica" is thrilled to be working with SmartSitKidz. She has an associates degree in childhood psychology. She loves working with kids and sharing her science, and arts knowledge with young ones!
Simren Arya
Educator
"Teacher Simmy" is a student at CSUF working towards a career in education. She taught STEM for the Tiger Woods Learning center and NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory. She has a passion for working with young students and is excited to be a part of this program!
Gitanjali Kaw
Educator
"Teacher Gita" received her B.S.E. and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. She has collaborated on several projects to engage and support minorities through STEM education (see Beauty and the Bolt) and is thrilled to share her love of science with Smart Sit Kidz!
Sammy Acosta
Educator
"Teacher Sammy" is currently enrolled at Cal State Fullerton working towards a BA in English, pursuing a career as an English Teacher for secondary ed. Most recently, she worked on providing a safe learning space for kids ages 3-8 and was a Camp Counselor for "Us in the Son" Day Camp. She is so excited to bring her big heart and love for education to SmartSitKidz!
Nicole Millison
Educator
"Teacher Nicole" earned her bachelor’s degree in social work at Kutztown University. Most recently, she was the Summer Program Director for children ages 3-12 at a kids center. She has also worked as a lead Site Director for a before-and-after school program with a focus on literacy, art, and STEM. She is excited to bring her creativity and love for teaching to SmartSitKidz!
Jo Sain
Educator
“Teacher Jo” is currently enrolled in Fullerton College, working towards a career in education. Most recently, she has worked tutoring kids with learning disabilities and was a Camp Counselor at “Us in the Son” Day Camp! She has also been a trusted caretaker for children of all ages while pursuing her degree. She has a passion for working with kids and is so excited to be apart their educational journey here at SmartSitKidz!
